Two men have been arrested in connection to the death of a 21-year-old GAA player in Co Mayo. Joseph Deacy (21) of St. Albans in England, was discovered outside a house at Gortnasillagh, Swinford at approximately 6.00am on August 12. The alarm was raised by a passer-by and gardaí and emergency services attended the scene immediately. The man was taken by ambulance to Mayo University Hospital and later removed to Beaumont Hospital where he was pronounced dead on August 13. Gardaí investigating the death have today arrested two men. The two men in their 20s were arrested this morning and are detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Garda Stations in Co. Ireland's late International Rules call-up Ciaran Sheehan says he isn't bitter over being let go by Carlton. The Farran native won an All-Ireland title with the Rebels in 2010 before heading Down Under to join the Blues in 2014. However, a succession of hip, knee and hamstring injuries limited him to just six appearances in four season and he was released by the AFL club last month.
